Back to the street, back to the place He had done it again. Lanky white form was propped against the wall of the hallway; more specifically, right next to the Nurse's Office. Albino was unreasonable, that was for sure. After stone-faced arguing with a teacher, burning his wrist for the umpteenth time this week, and forgetting his homework, he was angrily pushed from the room, and directed to attend to the Nurse "promptly, without delay". So, deciding be be a wise ass out of spite, he hung around coldly outside of the office, arms crossed and the hintings of a scowl on his face.
The door opened, and he was welcomed inside by a bustling nurse, who had nothing for absolute sympathy for the sadistic Zero. It wasn't like he could feel it, anyway. Pointed ears were left set forward in an easy manner, and dog-like tail hung loosely between his legs.
Skylar was escorted to an examining table, much like the one you would find in a doctor's office or hospital. Hopping up, his tail quickly swerved out of the way of being crushed. Offering the nurse the most uninterested gaze possible, he waited as she scurried to the back of the room to retrive her medical... utensils.
Returning, the nurse snatched his wrist, and disinfected the wound as gingerly as she could. He frowned. "Miss, it's fine. It doesn't hurt."
In response, he was given a puzzled look, but it softened. "Oh. You're one of.. Them?"
Sky should have been insulted by this, but instead, he said nothing. He only grimaced.
Back to the room where it all began.

Short, blue-hoodied boy had been scurrying the halls when something tall, light, and trench-coated caught his eyes. Ears perked, and tail wagged slightly as he caught sight of Skylar, his Fighter. A grin marked the boy's face, and he scuttled over, only to find the only person he ever cared for scuttling into the nurse's office. Eyes narrowed, and then ears drooped. A sudden realization caught his attention, Skylar's hurt!? Worry overtook the boy, and he leaned against the wall obediently, peeking into the small white window in front of the nurse's office every few moments in an attempt to figure out what was wrong with his fighter; quickly becoming frustrated with his apparent lack of knowledge towards his Fighter's current status.
Soon, the pacing would start, and the kid would begin to grow anxious. One minute was beginning to feel like an hour, and he could only imagine the worse. Skylar had gotten a terrible wound and hadn't realized it because he couldn't feel it and... They just went on, and on, and on, pointlessly worrying himself.
The kid felt pretty sure that Skylar would never go to the nurse's office of his own free will unless something was terribly wrong, seeing as they couldn't feel whatever was happening any how, and heading there without reason was pointless.

Back to the street, back to the place
Stiff red gaze traveled boredly around the room as the nurse bustled around him, checking the books for extra medical treatments, etc. Honestly, he just wasn't fazed. Doglike appendages lay idly, ears perked and face cold. Ruby met the door at last, only to get a peek of sandy brown dissapear from the window attached. Face contorted into a frown of something possible to be the equivalent of amusement.
Discarded trenchcoat was picked up, and he hopped off the examining table. Honestly, Sky didn't even remember taking the vortex of all that was his jacket off, but whatever, he digressed.
Lanky arms slipped into the sleeves, the nurse having left the room for extra neosporin type things. Newly bandaged hands felt his pockets, everything in place. Satisfied, he strolled out fo the room, opening the door to a pacing Avery.
Skylar sighed. "How many calories do you plan to burn doing that, exactly?" He half meant it; it wasn't a complete joke. Was Skylar even capable of being funny? Of course, but it was really hard for him to show anything but disdain or nonchalat-type expressions. But believe me, it was there. Making Sky laugh, or even smile would be the ultimate goal for any class clown, that was for sure.
Back to the room where it all began.

More movement would occur from within the room, and he'd stop pacing, head staring intently. Kid would basically attempt to tackle Skylar down in excitement, and he'd try to cling to him. "As many as I want." He'd respond with a grin, tail wagging behind him.
An ear would flick, and the short boy would grin up at Skylar, "We were invited to go out to coffe with my friend Astrid! She even said she'll pay for us! And you have to go!" He'd try to grab his fighter's arm, and tug it slightly, gently; jokingly. The kid would try to drag Skylar there if he had to, but hopefully it would come to that.
Excitement would fade slightly, and Avery would remember why he was there, and so upset a few moments ago, "Skylar, what happened, why were you in the Nurse's office? I was really scared because I know you wouldn't go there for something small." Voice would trail off slightly, and the puppy-like kid would stare up at he's partner's familiar face.
Tail was wagging slightly at the tip, though that was merely at being reunited with his Fighter. He hated being separated from him. It was like torture for the child. "And where were you at lunch? I was lonely...And some kid pissed me off." Oh Avery, throwing your emotions up onto the first person you could cling to.

Back to the street, back to the place
Upon being tackled, tall boy would grunt, and make a 'tch' sound from between his teeth. It seemed that Avery never noticed the disdain he always carried, or something, because he sure as hell wasn't noticing it now.
"You have fun with that, kiddo." Tone was almost in vain.
Tail lowered to his leg, flat and calm. Had he ever been ruffled as a child? Nope. It wasn't so much under strict rules, but strict instructions that kept the boy efficient and secretively coy/cunning. He raised a white eyebrow as excited word-vomit spewed from his sacrafice's mouth. Al he could pick up was 'cafeteria', 'coffee', and 'nurse', which he answered with the more sullen look he could offer on an indifferent face. "Sure. I don't mind, I suppose. Nurse? Oh. Damn teacher caught me burning my writs, and overreacted. So did the nurse." He frowned, eyebrows furrowed forward, if only slightly.
As for the next question, "Lunch? Oh. I was skipping. Sorry. You missed me?" What a caring individual he was. Notice the sarcasm? Good.
Back to the room where it all began.

"Why of course I will!" He'd say with a wild grin, still clinging to his Fighter rather happily. Kid seemed entirely blind to Skylar's lack of amusement, and completely immune to such a mood. oh, such an innocently happy kid. Who'd ever want to stomp that out of him? So pleasant and eager to please; the perfect little toy to the puppet masters out there, if they could ever manage to remove him from what may as well have been his keeper and guardian.
Tail would wag fiercely and excitedly behind him as he got his Fighter's attention, "Yay! You'll love Astrid! She's great!" All sentences were overly happy and the exclamation point was almost visible. It was most definitely heard in the way he spoke.
A light laugh would drip from the boy's lips, bell sweet and cute, at the mention of merely being burned. "Your teacher got worried over that? My Chemistry teacher wouldn't let me use the lighters last semester. He was scared I'd burn myself...which I probably would." Sometimes, the two Zeros could just be so similar sometimes; cutting and burning just out of curiosity of how it would feel.
"You...skipped? I was waiting for you." Excitement faded slightly...Maybe that red-headed kid had been right. SKylar had abandoned him for someone els-No, No, NO! Skylar would never do such a thing! It was for classes, most definitely. Skylar needed to stay behind for help on something...Or his teacher was overreacting as he had said! Yes, that was most definitely it...yeah.
Even Avery didn't quite believe that.

Back to the street, back to the place
"Good, good." Picking up his sacrafice piggyback-style, he trekked through the hall, ignoring any strange or judgemental looks coming from any passing students or faculty. Path was set to his locker, and he shoved any small freshman that were in his way. Boy was tall, and that was an understatement.
Large sophmore found his locker instantly, spinning the combo several times until it opened with a click. The Fighter's locker consitsted of several soda cans, packs of gum, candy, an extra trenchcoat; heavy-duty for winter months, and of course, books. Shoving his books into his locker, and taking off in the direction of the exit.
Back to the room where it all began.

Go spin circles for me
The kid grinned as he was lifted, arms wrapping easily around Skylar's neck, chin resting on top of Skylar's own, comfortably. The fact that Skylar had completely ignored the that Avery was upset by his lack of arrival to lunch was entirely ignored. The child was too pleased at the moment to think of such things.
Somehow, Skylar seemed to have been able to manage holding his smaller fighter on his back, beating down the freshman in his way, opening his combination lock, and setting his books away in his locker. Someone had more skill than Avery could ever wish to obtain. That kind of multi-tasking was just something he couldn't do...in fact, he couldn't carry a human being on his back, let alone carry someone and everything Skylar had done right then. In truth, it was highly unlikely that the small boy could even push the freshmen out of the way...that was something they tended to do to him.
Tail wagged behind the kid as he basically lounged on Skylar, "So, to the parking lot to meet up with Astrid now?"
Wound relentlessly around the words we used to sling

Back to the street, back to the place
His hold on Avery adjusted, and he continued loping down the hall, easy stride, and bookless. Instead, he now had a new type of luggage, being the short individual almost physichally attached to his person.
"Yeah," He grunted, eyes fixed forward as combat boots hit white glazed tile. Slightly tattered trenchcoat billowed behind him, Sky picking up soem serious speed. Racing through the academy wasn't always part of his schedual, but he was dying to escape the said confinement.
Upon reaching the doors, he used his foot and kicked upen the door, hands occupied by thighs.
Outside was wonderful; the sun was shining and puddles infested the ground. Tail perked slightly at the pleasant weather, and crimson eyes traveled slowly to the crystals formed on the spring green grass. September weather was wonderful so far, was it not? Skylar certainly thought so.
In a bit of a brighter mood, head swiveled slightly to view his sacrafice, and rubies met emeralds. "Well, Avery, Where to?"

The boy couldn't have been happier, arms wrapped around his Fighter's neck. It's really nice, being tall for once; taller than Skylar. Yup, that's the kind of thing Avery would think about. Being tall.
The kid was at ease, if anything. Comfortable. He trusted the albino not the drop him, or stumble or something, and he was just pleased with the Fighter's general closeness.
"In the back, towards the trees. There's a black moped. It's Astrid's." The kid was grinning stupidly, his head resting on Skylar's; feeling rather amused. The boy was actually truly pleased that his Fighter, and crush, had decided to go to coffee with him and Astrid. Of course, he was pleased whenever Skylar agreed to do anything with him. With a friend as well? The kid was thrilled
