It was funny, how Gage had been looking forward to the letter that told him that he wouldn't ever have a roommate. That would have been a nice day. But no, today he received a different letter. One that announced that he was to be living with a student called Skylar. The funny thing about the whole situation was that he knew who this Skylar was -- he'd met Avery before, and thus knew who the mystery roommate was. Even funnier thing was that now Avery had to put up with Gage whenever he decided to come over to visit his boytoy. The red-head had only called Skylar Avery's boytoy because it was the first word that had popped into his head. But considering the reaction Avery had to it, he assumed it would be amusing to call Skylar that every time.
So as he walked back to his dorm after class today, he wondered if his roommate would be there to meet him. Or if he would even respond to Gage if the latter introduced himself. He'd never met Skylar in person before, so he didn't really know how he acted around others. If he went by what Avery said, he expected to see god in human form when he walked through the door -- however, as Astrid had said, Avery was a little obsessed with his fighter. So, with this information, he came to the conclusion that he would see instead, just a normal human being. With ears. Hopefully.
So as he walked around the corner, he couldn't help but to grin in anticipation. He reached the door, and slowly turned the handle..

Criminal record says I've broken in twice,
It had taken hours, but the lean boy had managed to completely unpack himself in his room. He had chosen the room with the city-view; large and like a picture. He chose it only because of the beauty if would release at night, with a mixture of neon lights against a black backdrop. He hadn't bothered to look in the other room, so he wasn't sure of the window in there. For Sky, it had been love at first window.
He had made sure to bring the majority of his things to the once-empty dressers and tables, transferring his already-folded clothes from one compartment to another. Satisfied with that, he gave a scornful face (as much emotion that Skylar can possibly potray) to the blankets on his bed. He'd have to change those later.
His desktop had been set on the contemporary glass desk in the corner of his room, and his XBOX and PS3 were still in the boxes he moved them in. His closet was now filled with his empty suitcase and a couple coats, along with some extra shoes.
On his walls, he plastered up some band posters, such as Slipknot and Panic! At the Disco.
Finally, he removed some frames and a stack of photos from his backpack. Frowning, he leaned over, his long, white hair covering his face sloppily. Annoyed by this, he snatched a rubber band from his stack of photos and tied his hair into an awkward ponytail, his casual clothes; a black Mulisha hoodie and grey, plaid lounge pants. Aggrivated, he walked into the kitchen-type area in search for scissors, hoping he could use them as a makeshift screwdriver to open the frames. Right after he opened the drawer, the door opened.
I must have done it half a dozen times.

When Gage's eyes connected with Skylar's he blinked in surprise. This was Avery's Fighter? He seemed so.....different from the smaller boy. At first glance, the red-head almost assumed that the two wouldn't have gotten along very well. But the way Avery spoke about this man made him seem so amazing. He was correct, then, to assume that he wouldn't be seeing god in human form.. He was just a normal, teen-aged kid like Gage was. Breathing a small sigh of relief, Gage smiled at him.
"Hey, guess you're my new roommate," he started, entering the room and shutting the door behind him. He turned his gaze back to the kitchen area and noticed the other man was looking for something, but didn't say anything about it. "Name's Gage," he continued, and held his hand out for the newcomer to take. "Nice to finally meet you." He smirked as he shrugged, and turned to throw his backpack on the ground against the wall, where it would stay until he needed it again. He supposed he'd have to start being clean and putting things away where they were supposed to go, but... He never felt like it. An effort would be made, though, hopefully.
((sorry its short T_T))

Sky would blink, and he would look up from his search. He gave the other fighter a once over. Red hair? Awesome. He remembered people trying to bribe him into dying his hair, but he would have none of it. Tall boy offered a teeeeennnsssyyyy smile, before responding. "Guess I am." Constinuing to dig through the drawers, he produced a pair of scissors, just as he had hoped. Looking back up, he offered one of his hands. "'M Skylar." He looked blankly at Gage before responding. "... Finally? What'dy mean?" Closing the drawer, he stood up straighter. Ruby eyes glanced as the bad was thrown to the wall. How did he know who he was?
I must have done it half a dozen times.

Gage gave a curt nod when Skylar introduced himself, as if he were trying to come off as the 'normal teenager'. He chuckled lightly, though, which might have blown his cover if Skylar hadn't been so busy searching for the pair of scissors. It was weird, having a roommate. He'd have to learn to share things and to clean more often.. Gage knew this kid would be pissed if he came in here one day to cook and found all the things needed to do so laying dirty in the sink. He gave a mental sigh. Nevertheless, he was happy to have someone to hang out with while he was here.
"I met Avery the other day. He told me about you. He seems to fucking adore you, from the way he talks about all your mighty-ness." The red-head gave another chuckle, louder this time. "So I guess I indirectly know who you are already, and it's glad to finally meet you in person."

Criminal record says I've broken in twice,
The tall boy would blink with suprise. Cluching his prize, he absentmindedly twirled it in his hand, probably slitting it upon the movement. Body mass shifted, and he rolled his eyes at the mention of his Sacrifice. Avery was such a silly boy, always talking to everyone about his Fighter, like he was the only thing in his life. Ever.
He coughed, and raised an eyebrow, nodding. "Yeah, he.... He does that." He put a hand to his forehead, and sighed. There was a slight tickle in his hand. Scarlet eyes met a now scarlet hand; Skylar now noticing the scissors had indeed cut him. His face contorted with intrest, examining the thin slices thoroughly. Eyes flicked back to Gage's face, waiting for his next statement.
I must have done it half a dozen times.
