Name: Noel Marchal Age: Fifteen DoB: December 25th Gender: Male Grade: Tenth Grade
Hair: Dark pitch-black hair covers his head in a shaggy cut, it usually never covers his eyes or ears exempt when Noel feels as if he has to hide. Ears: His ears are the same color as his hair, they’re slightly longer than most cat ears and have an unnaturally shiny sheen to them. His tail has the exact same color and sheen as his ears, and they are also slightly longer. Eye Color: Noel’s eyes are sharp and grey, they study everything but eventually those grey orbs tend to droop when they get tired. He owns a pair of black glasses for his nearsightedness, but Noel rarely uses them. Skin Tone: As white as snow, no seriously, Noel has extraordinarily pale skin and may or may not get the occasional freak sun burn. Height: 5’6 Weight: 125 pounds
Description: Noel’s looks are all about sharpness, he’s a mesh of dark angles and a thin body. His standard clothing style is either very formal with a dress shirt and tie, or very simple like a plain white t-shirt and jeans. On his body there is often a book bag, which usually contains all his homework, notebooks, and some occasional electronic devices. Noel's eyes are very calm and dull, but he has been able to pull off a intimidating glare. His hair as of now is getting a bit long, so he’s considering a haircut.

Personality: A collector of knowledge, Noel is a person who obsessively obtains information and seeks to apply it. The problem is that his personality is the type that often watches and analyzes, rather than preforms. He isn’t shy by any means and will often pull off a sarcastic remark and conversations are no trouble, but he lacks the courage to put some of his more unorthodox ideas into practice or get into many spell battles for fear that his fighter will get hurt due to his weakness.
Noel isn’t a particularly kind person, but he is soft and willing to help anyone who asks him (especially if a bunch of compliments are thrown in). He doesn’t care for many people, and think most of them are out to harm him. Despite his lack of resolve, Noel has created a few rules for himself, things he’ll abide by and stand for. He does stands firm on the few beliefs he has and has proven himself a loyal friend to the few people he does care about.
History: Noel was born on Christmas Day to some very unfunny, lower-middle class, French and Chinese parents. In truth, his family background was normal compared to his strange personality. He was an only kid, his parents never hurt hum or anything, but the only thing he could complain about was that they weren’t around as often as he needed them. Noel’s parents had a laissez faire attitude, preferring that he make his own decisions as well as his own mistakes. It worked for the most part. He was a smart child, but a little to hesitant on taking chances, which did make his parents occasionally force his hand. For example, going to the Academy wasn’t his choice. The parental units decided that he needed to take an opportunity that they never had, and he was then shipped off. Noel has for the most part been handling the Academy well, but on occasion he does wish for a few more friends pal around with.

Roleplaying Example: Let us do a new thing! How Noel felt when he first came to school, and if he already had a name:
Uncertainty and hesitation ran through him, should he make a break for it? Noel’s brain raced as he briefly considered jumping onto his parent’s car and never letting it go. His old school was ‘safe’, he knew those dusty, old halls inside and out. No one had bothered him for fear of retribution from the school monkey. It had been one of his crowning glories, the thing he had practiced, planned, and improved upon when eighth-grade summer vacation came around to insure that he had a bully free high school experience. Now he was throwing it all away for a chance . A chance that the people here weren't complete dunder heads, a chance that there was slight possibility that someone who walked in The Academy halls could possibly be his friend, a chance that people would finally leave him alone. Noel didn't hate people, people just found him to be an easy target. One who wouldn't squeal or fight back, unless provoked to the extreme. He sighed chance your parents said to take a chance on this place , Noel had to. He had no choice in this matter and with a slight fear coiling in his stomach, he headed towards orientation.
It was a surreal moment when he realized that he was being seated in a hall with a couple hundred other kids. They all had been listening to the speech, and as it was finally winding down, he heard the most ominous words of all, "Come here to find your teammate," the name on his arm itched as if it could feel his chosen in this idiot academy. Your soulmate, forever, he had said it himself....hadn't he? Noel had told himself that he could only be interested in an experience that could stay with him for a lifetime, perhaps this was one of them. With an almost feverent interest, the many students walked in a single file together with a teacher.
They had been corralled into a very large room, with a single door behind them and an ominous door in front. As their names were called, they were shuffled into the next room to meet their team mate. Noel flushed due to the heat of the room, too many bodies packed into one place certainly did raise the room's temperature. Once the room began to thin out, his name was called. Noel was in a state of nervous tension as he pushed open the door to meet his teammate, only one single word formed into his mind as he sighted the other name holder Hello .
