The classes were over for today and happy children and teenagers poured out of the classes and into the Academy Grounds, taking their sweet time in order to relax and unwind the pressure they had accumulated during the hours of lessons. Most people liked to nap or socialize, some attended to their respective clubs and activities and some stayed on duty, cleaning the classrooms.
Jubaku was one of the few who did not leave his classroom. He had no duty today, but he had to stay. He had encountered an another problem that was no longer "looming on the horizon" - he had fallen back rather vastly on Math and now he had to stay and attend an extra lesson.
Luckily, the teacher had given him his assignment and left, so no one disrupted the young man's concentration and thank the Divine for that!
Jubaku uttered another curse and raised his fists into the air, one hand clutching the pencil so hard that an audible crack could be heard.
"Damn you, Algebra! Damn you!" he howled in desperation and something short of defeat. He never was suited for mathematical approach and was more of a... artistic person, so to speak. Even if he didn't do much to show his talents in painting, music or whatever...
Jubaku slammed his hands on the table, earning an another carck from the pencil, which was threateningly close to being broken in half right now. Paying no attention to that the student brushed the fingers of both his hands through his spiky hair and threw one of the ponytails of his sandy blond hair over his shoulder.
Mother was proud of them ponytails! They were almost like hers... aside the fact that his were a lot thinner.
Jubaku exhaled loudly and quickly took off his school jacket, throwing it on the back of the chair he sat on. He was getting a bit hot from all the energy and effort he was putting in algebra... but, sadly, it wasn't enough.
He would welcome some company right now - any company, just for the sake of his mind taking some time off this monstrosity of a extra homework.
... and, frankly, he needed some help, even if he would not admit it out loud.
