Any minute now she would be walking through that door. The knowladge of this left Alex with an almost overwhelming sense of excitement. He'd never been social like this, certainly not to the point where he would ask a girl out to eat and then to a movie. If he didn't know any better, he might say it was a date, but he was Alex, and Alex didn't do dates- right? More importantly, did Anna know this? He suddenly felt guilty. He really liked Anna, but what if she wanted something from him he wasn't ready or willing to give yet? Her teasing words about going back to her house stuck with him like glue, and once in a while he'd blush at the thought of what might have happened if he'd gone. Would Dorian be upset with him if he were to come back one day without his ears? He thought back to the day before yesterday, when they had laid so comfortably with one another...His cheeks blushed a violent crimson at how right at home he'd been with Dorian curled up into him like that, so warm, so sweet smelling....He blinked himself out of the daze he'd been falling into, and his ears drooped in guilt as he realized just how nice doing all those things had made him feel. It was a foreign feeling, and he wasn't sure what to do with it. Dorian was strange...But at Least he had Annas normality to ease him.
With his feet shifting in silence beneath the two seater table, Alex watched the door to the cofee shop like a hawk. He hadn't ordered anything yet, mostly because he was curious to see what she would order. He already knew what he wanted- A french vanilla with 2 hazelnut shots, his favourite. At his feet was an army green backback, and in it were the books he promised he'd bring her. He'd picked them out the night Dorian had stayed, but hadn't been able to bring her to them the next day because he'd been busy with Dorian- the boy had made him promise to take him to the boardwalk. Now though, his attention was completely focused on weather Anna would show up or not.

The young woman had brought her purse along with her. Although she had been hoping to see Alex yesterday, he had hung out with his fighter. She had received an apology text from him, which was absolutely alright. Anna very well knew how the sacrifices tended to be bossy and needy. Sometimes she was like that with her fighter - though it wasn't very often. In fact, Anna and her fighter had a comfortably amiable relationship, even when it came to Anna being the boss. She usually gave Evee as much freedom as she could, but some other sacrifices weren't like that in the least. Dorian, from what Anna had gathered so far, wasn't the kind to just let Alex do as he would, all willy nilly.
He had asked her last night to see the movie he had promised her. What a sweet guy. In all honesty, Anna was just happy to see the young man smile. He was a year below her in school, but that really didn't matter to the young woman. The junior was alright with that. Age didn't really make much of a difference to Anna. Although Evee was not happy with Anna really dating others - was this a date? as she went to push open the door, she hesitated at the thought. It was, wasn't it? Alex had told her he would pay; besides, there was no mistaking the way he brushed his body up against hers, and vice versa. There was an attraction between the two. Definitely sexual, but something a bit more as well. They were friends first, after all. Her black wool coat was wrapped snugly around her petite body, her jeans fitting her form nicely, accentuating what curves she was blessed with. Spotting him, Anna's ears perked up. Her boots made little sound on the floor of the cafe, and she took off her coat to reveal a purple cardigan, complete with a nice black and grey designed tank top underneath. She even had on silver jewelry - just a necklace. Unlike his sacrifice, Anna didn't have her ears pierced.
She threw her coat on the back of her chair, only to give Alex a hug. Her arms wrapped around him, her cheek brushing against his. Although Anna was only an inch shorter than her favorite underclassman, she sometimes felt as though the distance was a lot larger. Her chin rested on his shoulder for a moment too long, making sure that Alex knew how happy she was to see him. Her tail curled up, brushing against his body before she took her leave. The young woman seated herself across from him. Rubbing her hands together, Anna grinned. "So, what'll it be today? Sorry if I kept you waiting, Evee gave me a hard time today." Her fighter was a bit too over protective at times of her sacrifice.

A smile took hold of his lips the second he saw her walking up to the doors. God, there was something about her that was just so...confusing. He had never met a girl that made him feel the way he did now, in fact, the only other person that made him feel like this was Dorian, but it was difficult with him. The boy was so damn playful and confident that Alex couldn't stay away even if he wanted too. Dorian gave him something he hadn't had ever with anyone, and Alex both longed for and despised it.
As Anna approached the table Alex stood on instinct, welcoming her embrace and settling into it just as comfortably as she. With his arms wrapped loosely around her waist as he held her to him, he took in a deep breath. He had always loved how she smelled, from the day he met her. When the separated, Alex slid over to her seat to pull out her chair for her, offering her little grin before he sunk into the chair across from her. "So, what'll it be today? Sorry if I kept you waiting, Evee gave me a hard time today.""Well, I checked todays listings for horrors and we've got Jaws 3D, Hide and Seek, or Jeepers Creepers- your pick. And don't worry about running late- I know how it is." he said with a soft smile."So, what do you want to drink?"

There was a permanent smile that seemed to be glued to her lips whenever Alex was around. Not like she usually wasn't smiling - Anna always had something happy to be smiling about. However, with Alex, it was something more. He was breathtaking in the way he spoke to her. He had her full attention always, just like how she held the same reverence for him. There was something about having his hands on her body that brought Anna alive. She loved just being with him. There was a bit more to life when Alex was around. He was someone on her own level. Not that Evee wasn't like that, it was just in a totally different way. Anna's full lips turned into a soft grin as he pulled her chair out for her. Oh, the gentleman he was...
His eyes caught her attention, the golden orbs something that her warm ones were unable to look away from. Her body was leaned slightly over the table, even as her slender hands began to warm themselves up. Thank physics for... friction? She could be such a nerd. Anna gave him a small shrug, looking away. It was complicated. Although she adored her fighter, Anna had to draw the line sometimes. She looked back to him, brushing her bangs out of her eyes, although the maneuver was unsuccessful. The strands fell right back into place. "I love her dearly, but she can be a bit too... possessive of me. She won't like you because you're a guy." There was the aspect of having Anna 'stolen' that had Evee nervous around guys. "As for the movies... hm. Either Hide and Seek or Jeepers Creepers. Tell you what..." She grabbed two napkins from the little dispenser at their table. One of them was pressed to her lips, like she was blotting her lips gloss. It left a near perfect impression of her lips, before she folded it into a small square. "This one is Creepers..." Then Anna took a plain one and folded it like the marked one. "And this shall be Hide and Seek." The young woman jumbled them up in her cupped hands, before extending them to Alex from across the table. "You pick."
Perhaps it was because she was a kind-hearted person, but Anna always tried to give the fighters - the ones she liked, at least - the choice of whatever they wanted, seeing as they usually didn't get it otherwise. Once that was over, she grinned. "Mmm... I was think a double chocolate chip frappunccino. What about you?" Her eyes on his, her tail was swishing behind her with interest. She was careful to keep it from touching the floor of the coffee shop.
