Anna is a perky person to begin with. Very rarely does she find something not to smile about. Her lips always seem to be curled up in amusement or joy. She is a smart cat, one who likes to push herself and put her knowledge to good use. Anna is friendly, though never goes so far as to make someone uncomfortable. She likes to give people choices - especially fighters she likes. Although the sacrifice may come off as a goody-two-shoes, Anna can be a daredevil at times. However, that also means that Anna knows how to tell someone off. She will defend what is hers and will refuse to back down. Today I arrived at the Academy. The people here were really nice. It didn't take long for me to tour. My brother dropped me off, thankfully. Mom would have freaked on me. She tends to get really emotional. I love her, but she needs to understand that I'm growing up, too. I am her baby, though. Oh well. I tried to unpack but I got nowhere. All these boxes filled with books seem to take up the whole room. I wonder who my roommate will be? I hope she's nice.

After a few days of procrastinating and trying to brush up on all the work from my old school, I decided to take a walk in the gardens. I met this really sweet kid. His name is Avery. Although he's only a year younger than me, he seems to be a bit.. immature. I can't help but feel bad for him. It seemed like his fighter just upped and left the poor little guy. But he likes chocolate, so that's all fine with me. We exchanged numbers. Hopefully, he won't mope next time Skylar leaves him. But he was really nice, all in all. He said that we should go to Ashporte sometime and just have fun; each of us should bring our fighters. I wonder how that would work out, seeing as I haven't met mine yet.

Today I had the opportunity to meet my fighter. I got a little piece of paper, from the directors, obviously. It said to meet her at the fountain. I had to admit, I wasn't too calm about the whole affair. Ageless is our name. Is it a good one? I suppose. It makes me feel young. With that in mind, I feel absolutely immortal. The girl was beautiful. She was in my grade. But she seemed a bit mean. Tough on the outside, for sure. Eventide Infinit is her name. I think I'm going to call her Evee, for short... if she lets me. She has a certain spunk, an attitude, about her. It makes me nervous and happy. At the same time, I feel the utter need to just control that energy of hers, to use it for my own. Is that me or the sacrifice part of me? I really can't tell. She offered to help me with my unpacking, provided she got the books to borrow. That really interested her, for some reason. But that's good, I would love to have a life partner who loves to read as much as I do. We unpacked together..... to be continued.

I bumped into this kid in the hallway today. His name is Alex. He seems really sweet. His eyes are a beautiful golden color. I couldn't look away. How silly am I? He's a grade below me, but he has a certain pull to him. I hope I get to see him soon again. After all, we spent the rest of the day together. We talked in the gardens after school. I teased him a little bit. What a sweetheart. His lips are just so kissable. At the same time, I rather like my ears. As a sacrifice, today I started my first specials class. I'm a beginner, obviously. But still, it was interesting. I get to take the pain. I'm good at that, though. It feels amazing to have this power. I can feel it thrumming, somewhere deep inside me. It's a little thread that connects me to Evee. After school, I went running in the gym. Hey, it's cold out! Don't judge me... book. Anyway. I met this albino guy. His name is Skylar, and he's the partner of Avery. He's a zero. I have to admit, that freaks me out is interesting. A little bit apathetic, and bloodthirsty from what he spoke of, a tournament ages ago. I wouldn't want to face off against him, ever.

Ah, the weekend. Alex told me he was going to meet up with me, but cancelled last minute. Something with his fighter, Dorian. Eh, whatever, I guess. I can understand how he drops me for his fighter. That's just the way things are. I would expect Evee to do the same, although a part of me hates to admit it. Gage is one of my newest friends. He's gay, but god, he is absolutely hot. There is something about his looks, combined with his give a shit less attitude that I just adore. We met up in Ashporte, just to fool around. He decided that, because I dragged him there, I was to try on a humiliating outfit. It bothered me a little, but I really don't mind. It made him laugh and smile. Really, his face is one I would die for. Why does he have to have a sexual preference in the opposite direction? )': Ah, it was a nice day. I didn't mind goofing off. Besides, sometimes it's fun to just take a walk on the wild side.

I met up with Alex today. We went to see a movie, but got some coffee first. He even brought me some books to borrow. Books! He must be a keeper. What a great guy. I thought he wouldn't remember, but he did. Adore him. No one makes me feel this way. Evee is special, sure, but Alex is just something more. How do I begin to explain it? It's romantic, I know. I have a huge crush on the guy. I feel as light as a feather around him, giddy and complete in a totally different way. to be continued

We had a Halloween party today! The student body pulled one together for all of us. Fantastic! I'm going as a sexy cop, for me and also as a little show for Evee. Well, I'm leaving now, I should be back sometime soon. She texted me about problems with her costume, so I should be seeing her soon. I'm so excited! to be continued
