Description: Astrid is not your conventional teenager. She's been kicked out of dozens of schools already because of it, but it never gets her down. She's an average height of a little over five and some feet, thin with well defined hips and shoulders, a pale complexion that tans a bit in the summer... and those copper eyes that can fool anyone into thinking she's all fun and no work. She makes it a habit to constantly change her hair, both in style and in color, though many suspect she wears wigs on some occasion (like when she's suddenly got waist long hair a day after it was at her shoulders). Her fur gets the same treatment, though to a lesser extent and it shows through as a light brown in color, with tabby spots along the tail and darker tips on her long ears. Surprisingly enough, her clothes aren't as loud as her hair. She generally sticks to the rules, keeping a casual tweak to it though (like keeping the tie loose or wearing jeans instead of dress pants). Her public style is much more vibrant but it's still strangely appropriate. She's got a good eye for color and it shows.

Personality: There's nothing normal about Astrid. Absolutely nothing. When she's not discussing her latest schemes with her partner, she's probably devising some sort of crazy prank to pull on... everyone and anyone. A trickster who redefines 'random' and 'insane'. She's an avid party-goer, though she's not against settling down with a good book and some calming music at the end of the day. She's constantly got some sort of device with her, be it her top-of-the-line cell phone or her latest hand-held gaming system (such as, more recently, her 3ds). She loves playing mind games with people but despises gossip and the act of 'dating'. A very unique girl who's always smiling despite her hardships. Then again, it's hard to tell when she's sober and not smoking up between classes... (which she's not entirely proud of, either).

History: Mother's always working, father died when she was a kid. She was an only child but unfortunately, her rich parents got even richer when her mother became a widow. This of course meant Astrid was given only the best things, best clothes, best toys, best everything... and she hated it. Still does. She never sees her mother and it's always been this way. Since she was a little girl, she's been taking care of herself. It's led Astrid down a dark road, one that included hard drugs for about a year before she got off it (thanks to mum finding out and sending her to rehab). This same hardship of having a rich, workaholic mother meant she misbehaved almost constantly in school. As a result, she's been to more schools than she's had birthdays. Her friends are few and rare in between, though they tend to all agree on one thing; she's the most loyal companion in the world, as long as you don't break that trust.

Roleplaying Example: From Souls.

He'd had enough. Every day it was the same damn thing, over and over. Alaki would moan, bitch and complain about Teo's angst, which in the albino's mind was completely and totally justified; he'd lost his kids for Christ sake! In love with two people (make that three, thanks to Tawny's arrival) and he'd chosen the one who couldn't even spend time with his own daughter. Miwa needed her father, damn it!

Alaki would -have- to step up now, though. Teo had explained his intentions to Camilla, who understood and, though she didn't like it, she agreed to watch over Tawny, Miwa and Alaki while Matteo was gone. He'd be back someday... but not for a long, long time.

He'd packed his satchel with the bare essentials; a pair of flasks filled with water, an old blanket, a change of clothes and some dried meat. Next, he went to the stables and hitched a horse. He had full intentions to leave and go it alone, so he saddled up and led the horse out of the caves.

...as he left the caverns behind, he realized something; the trip would be terrible alone and he'd done nothing to fulfill his promise to Gemma, to earn her forgiveness again.

So he tied the horse to a tree and headed back inside, grumbling as he went. His pace was so quick that he made it to the den she shared with Giuseppe in record time. Upon figuring that Giuseppe had gone out, he didn't bother knocking and just slipped in, eyes wide and alert, ears up, temper on edge.

"Gemma?"
